(Clarification: my question came accross not from Yahoo answers but from a person that said to be religious putting down another faith not by asking the question but by making a statement on top of his question, in one of my meetings)

Because hate comes from all sides, not just the faithful.

Loving people is a skill, and a lot of people simply don't have it.

There is no use at all in asking hate full questions. Yes, many more serious issues in the world.
The sad part is people will ask questions just to purposely upset another group for the sake of their own entertainment.
Those that try to preach the love of God? They usually are made fun of, yelled at, ridiculed......
Some do seek knowledge, but don't think they learn anything here.

Because, although most people are not aware of it, there long ago sprung up, quite deliberately by those who planned and caused it, 4 false religions, still very much in the world with us today, and the cause of all jail and prison occupancy, crime, divorce and certainly war. Those strong and evil enough to have brought the condition about were not mortals, they were learned and good at one time but with growing greed became evil enough to sacrifice the good of the people of Earth. They did it to gain something for themselves. In the longrun they lose badly. Mortals are still shackled in wars, in illness and in the kind of darkness you mention. In time it will be surmounted, and will happen in this 7th era when war will be banished forever from the earth, and vegetarianism will be common with all. This is only the beginning of the 2nd 100 years..and you see a tremendous amount of darkness in the world now. People seem to revel in it. Individuals must maintain their light and be patient. Be kind to those who injure you to the extent you can do it and pray for more light. Know that you have a team, as it were, with you day and night, and be open to guidance.Love the Creator as He loves you. Understand that He has good reasons to tolerate what greedy selfish false-gods brought about until the entire matter is resolved as it will be. For for more explanation get yourself a book titledOAHSPE and read it from cover to cover and see and appreciate where it leads you because it can lead the world to peace and there are legions of angels working on this.

Many people will claim that they are Christians that aren't. You can tell the true believer because they produce warm, loving answers and questions. Yahoo gives people the opportunity to impersonate whoever they like. Unfortunately Christians are the ones who are looked at under a microscope and we know that so we need to be extra cautious not to offend anyone and to give answers that reflex's Gods love.

Because religious faith causes people to be intolerant. People are taught that faith is a virtue. They learn to think that their views are good and don't need to be justified, as long as someone tells them they're good. This makes them feel superior to others who obvious have wrong beliefs since it counters their faith. And it can also be used to support other unjustified biases such as racism and chauvinism. It becomes a whole house of cards that is self-supporting and self-strengthening, and extremely divisive.

I'm also afraid that it is religion itself that causes intolerance. I can't understand why so many believers want to trash up embassy's because of some cartoons, instead of helping the poor, taking care of older relatives, and so on. What a waste of energy.

About this topic, i have learn about it. You see, some poorer people, who are uneducated, they don't even know their culture. Even if they do, they are given money by other nasty people to change their culture. As they don't know much about their new culture, they start to protect it and fight for it(uselessly).
That's the route. I am with you, for me, i don't what religion people have, Muslim, Hindi....i mean who cares?? Friends are friends you cant leave for their religion!!!
Right??
definitely there are more issues, those are the sign of poverty in the country and in case of drugs both poverty and depression.

isnt it strange-Jesus offers true love, salvation and amazing grace-the only one that came as a prophet without sin-when one questions Mohamad-a man that would be in prison today for child molestation of as muslims admit taking Aisha a 9 year old child,
-and he rewrote history as he denies Jesus died for our sins-yet says he went to heaven and will return as the Messiah of the world-

where is the hate in speaking the truth? Jesus loves you heart and soul-even as you as I did as a Jew refuse to do as he asks.
You once had some teaching but never let Jesus into your heart to forgive you sins as he asks-John 3 and Revelation 1:1 and 3:19&20 He still knocks on your heart door to come in and be your savior and friend-yet its up to you-and when you care for others you share the truth. peace be unto you Salam-in amazing grace-undeserved favor

Ah the hatefull questions?
perhaps they are hateful questions to the listener only
because they seek to uncover the truth !
I do not believe they are malicious or personal
on an issue as important as Where will I spend eternity and who is telkling the truth a mind that is taught to reason and disern what is truth is a Godly mind
Now your a Muslimha ok you are saying that your religion is right!
now how about we ask some delving questions ??
is that hateful ? No it is not! does it hurt to be asked questions that mIght show islam up for what it really is?
God will hold us accountable for using our minds body and spririt
we agree on this I know! let us then search out the truth with boldness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
