Do not give out your password. I know you think your in love and everything will be great. What you not looking at, is the fact that he is just wanting to keep tabs on you by checking your e-mail and other stuff. Tell your b/f it's none of his business and if he says you do not trust him, just agree. You still have a lot of time to find your true love, right now your just having pass through loves. Good luck sweetie.

I have an idea make 3 fake email addresses give him the password to 1 and use the other 2 and pretend to be a guy sending you dirty emails to the one has the password of ..
That should teach that controlling pig..
Anyway don't give it to him people need privacy and he's trying to take that away.

Sounds like he thinks your up to something. He doesn't trust you.
The only time I wanted a password for someones email was when I found out she'd been doing things that were WAY out of the ordinary. She seemed so sweet but she was pure eviil!

It appears there's a trust issue. Have you given him reason not to trust you? If you don't live together, I'd get out of the relationship while I have a chance. Is he abusive: physically, emotionally, mentally? This is a tell tale sign of other underlying issues. Be mindful and careful...

I would not give him your password. Your e-mail is like your personal first-class mail - should be opened by you and only you. If you then choose to share the e-mail, that's up to you.
If he insists on getting your e-mail, its a sure sign he doesn't trust you and perhaps it's time you started looking for a new boyfriend.

Don't let him have it! That's too controlling.
Turn the tables and ask him why he needs it. Does he suspect you of something? (Of course he does!) Then say, I'll let you watch me check my email but you are NOT having my password. I'm an individual and I have a right to some things of my own.

Your boyfriend does not need your email password. Sounds to me like he's having trust issues, or wants to completely dominate your every thought.
Tell him to grow up or get out!

Trust is the one of the basic elements of a good commitment. If your boyfriend wants to know your email password and you know you're not hiding anything from him, give it to him to stop his paranoia. But if he still keeps bugging you on knowing your other passwords, then give him the benefit of the doubt that he just don't trust you.

Why does he want it? Is it that he doesn't trust you? I gave my boyfriend my password, but only because he never asked for it, and I don't care if he sees my email. I don't think I would have given it to him if he demanded it though.
