Some people are just not into all of the occult things. I believe in all of that stuff and I myself have had a few experiences. One time I was getting ready to drive under this train bridge that was supposed to be haunted (called Cody Road Bridge) and I saw a train light. When I went under and came back around, there was NO train. That was strange. At my last apartment strange things would also happen. There would be shadows of people on the wall and one time my clothes hamper lid lifted up and slammed shut. I was home alone. This one guy who claimed to be a Wiccan told me that my apartment was a portal for spirits. I am not afraid of that kind of stuff but it is just strange for these things to happen. My son has seen his deceased grandmother a few times. He has been really terrified a few times because some strange stuff has happened. One time at my old apartment he came running into my room and told me that he was laying on the floor in the living room and felt a dog sniff in his ear. Not long after that, my friend and I were in the dining room on the computer and heard a dog bark in my room. We flew out of the house freaking out. I don't have any pets and neither did my neighbors. I know some people will think that I am crazy when they read this, but it is all true. I really don't care what anyone else thinks, they weren't there so their opinion doesn't matter.

Don't know if this a ghostly experience, but it really freaked me out. About 12 years ago I was visiting my sister and brother -in-law in Germany (he was stationed there at Ramstein Air Force base ) and he had the day off so we visit the castle that was where the original lord of those lands lived. It was pretty cool, just wandering around the castle with a map seeing the grounds and the original rooms. They were restoring the castle at that time so we went up to the second level and when I entered one room I totally freaked out. It just felt evil, just a feeling of horribleness pervaded that room, so much so that I ran out of that room and refused to go back in. My bro-in-law said he felt nothing wrong with the room, but I know what I felt. Terror. I asked him what room used to be used for, and he looked at the map and said it used to be the torture chamber. Like I said, it just felt evil. After that we stopped touring the castle and went to a snack bar to sit down and have a drink, but to this day I can recall what I felt. It still sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it. Hope that helps.

When i was around 8 yrs old my older sister and i were sitting @ the bottom of her bed chatting. The bedroom door was wide open - the door itself is opposite the door to our toilet so from where we were we could see in to the toilet perfectly. As we sat i, for some reason, just happened to glance up @ the open door - i will never forget what i saw! There on our landing, just outside my bedroom door was the strangest, scariest thing i'd seen - that i've EVER seen. I don't know what it was so i can't tell you exactly; but i just knew instinctively that it was not normal that it was something plain wrong. To describe it is simple; it was just a thick, black mass around five feet in height and about 3 feet in width. It seemed to be hovering just above the floor, kind of swirling and gliding quite slowly towards the toilet door. It entered the toilet and before disappearing from view around the other side of the toilet wall it passed in front of - and completely blocked the light from - the window. I was chilled to the bone let me tell you as was my sister. We didn't move for over an hour through fear! That was a long time ago now and i'm happy to say i haven't actually seen anything since; but a few months after the sighting I did experience some noises that seemed to be mimicking the movements of my dads night time routine. I'd be in bed and i'd hear my dad come up stairs, go into his bedroom (next to mine), i'd hear him do the same things eg bang the wardrobe door shut as he always did, open his bedroom door then close it, walk to the bathroom, have a shower , come back to his room etc etc - his routine was always the same! I always had very keen hearing abilities; as a kid who was always put to bed at an unreasonably reasonable hour i could recognise anyones footsteps on the stairs- even if it was someone who had enterd the house unknown to me after i'd been sent up i'd be able to name who's footsteps were on the staircase!!! Any way to get to the point i'd hear my dad go through his usual, nightly capers when i began to hear him coming back up stairs between 1/2 hour and 1 hour later and doing EVERYthing all over again; exactly as he'd done earlier. I thought it odd the first time but gave it no real thought; when it happened again the next night it did make me wonder what on earth he was doing - or WHY! By the third night i was very curious and called out to my dad to ask him why he had come back up. No one answered. I called and called and eventually got out of bed to go and speak to him. I looked everywhere up there and realised he wasn't there; i'd have heard him go back down. I went down stairs (much to the annoyance of my mother who told me off for being out of bed!) and asked my dad who denied having been up stairs more than the one time since he'd got home that evening. I belived him too as i made him swear on our lives (i was that shaken). What the black mass or the sound - copycat were all about i'll likely never know but i'd label them both as supernatural! Hope it gives you a good idea or two..

I have never personally seen a ghost but have had an experience with angles. I was about 8 months pregnant with my first child. I was experiencing horrible pain in my right side and got up in the middle of the night and went to lay on the sofa in the livingroom. When the pain became worse I decided to take a hot shower. As I was walking to the bathroom my (now ex) husband asked from our room if I was feeling better. I was standing outside our bedroom door with the bathroom light behind me. We didn't have a door going into our room so I had hung a brown felt curtain across our doorway. A few months later when we had moved out of that apartment he told me that that night when I was standing in our doorway that he saw what looked to be two other people standing on either side of me and it looked like they were holding me up. I got chills because I vividly remember that I could hardly walk because of the pain and that it felt like I was being supported by someone. He said that he thought they were ghosts but I knew that it was angles helping me. I always pray for angles to watch over us and I knew that's what they were doing. Like I said, I have never had an experience with a ghost but I do see angles all the time.

I am a Spiritualist Medium so have had many. Don't take any notice of the sceptics on here. One I had was when I was having a nightmare one night. I woke to find a lovely kindly man standing beside my bed with lots of little lights around his head. He was there to protect me. I looked into his face and felt comforted, turned over and went back to sleep feeling safe.

Real experiences? None are real. It is all a matter of the mind playing tricks on people. The brain is geared to seeing patterns, especially human ones. It was to our survival to recognize human faces and voices, especially when they didn't want to be seen. We do this so well, that we sometimes see them when they aren't there. We see faces in clouds and hear voices in squeaky doors.

When i was young about 6 yrs old i think, I saw a floating white lady, she got a long black hair until the ground, but i can't see her face it's just a blank empty space don't know why. I didn't feel scared at first cause i was still innocent about this scary things, but when i asked my mum why she's floating and i can't see her face, then that's the time they told me that was a floating white lady. I was the only one who've seen her passing by in front of us with my cousins and friends. There are some stories as well from my grandparents about this scary things like half human and half horse, flying half human body and they eat humans heart and drink blood, but none of this i've seen in real. But we have an american family in our place before, when they newly moved in an old house, the husband saw a man naked standing at the back of their kitchen, he went out to asked what he doing in a private place, but then he just opened his wide wings and flew. The next day he asked my dad if there are people flying in our place, but my dad just laugh cause we've never seen like man flying although there are hearsays but still we don't beleive it unless if we've seen it. So this american family was so surprise cause the man really looks like a devil you know although he got no tail. Then my mum as well, she's working with that american family that i've mentioned above, she is the gardener. She use to start watering the plants everymorning while it's still bit dark, she just heard children's laughing like they are playing around, somewhere around the house, but nobodys awake at that time 4am just to play around. Not only that, there was one time as well she's standing watering the plants when suddenly a car just buzz on her back with the blink of the lights and then when she turned around as she moved on the side there was nothing. Then my dad's co worker as well, when he's working in the fish pond near the bus stop, she saw me getting out from the bus, he called me to ask the time but he said i didn't respond i just walk straight not looking at him and then after a few minutes another bust stopped and he saw me again, but this time was really me on that bus, and i can see his face full of surprise like he was confuse cause the first me that he saw was really the same, the attire and the bag that i'm carrying. This was happend aswell when i was still 16. the wife of my unlce saw me walking through the door in our house wearing my school uniform, she called me but i just ignore her. So she walk through the wheel and she told my mum that i just ignore her when she said hi to me, and then suddenly they both saw me with my dad walking on the road, same attire on my school uniform. So things was getting weird, if someones not like us trying to borrow my image, or what? well I don't know if this is a ghost story, but this really happend to people in my place, but these doesn't scared us, but those scary monster i've not seen any yet, but floating white lady i do believe as i seen it in real. I like listening ghost story as well! Hope this help you a little....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
