It's called winter skin. The cold weather can make our skin dry and itchy and you should use a good moisturizing lotion not cream. Creams and Body butters can be to heavy therefore clogging our pours and then causing breakouts. The best way to try and fight this is to use your lotion right from the shower. Pat your skin dry do not rub then apply a thin layer of lotion before you even open the door to the bath room. The hot and moist air from the shower will allow your pours to remain open and for the lotion to penetrate into your skin then when you do open the door the cool air will close you pours up locking the moisture in your skin. You could also try baby oil doing the same method. This works well too. Always remember to pat the skin dry for this will help your skin not to become to rough. Some of the lotions I use is suave very cheep but works great oatmeal lotion any brand works well I also use a lot of Bath and Body lotions they are gentle on the skin and they do have unscented ones for sensitive skin I also use baby oil once in a while if I think my skin is to dry. For your face oil of olay make a great re hydrating lotion and is extra gentle for no break outs. Good Luck Hope this help you out.

Yes, I do. My face gets sooo dry, so I put on tons of moisterizer and then end up with little pimples! You can't win! I find no matter how much I moisterize my skin is still tight and dry. Drives me crazy! I am thinking of investing in a humidifier because the dry air from indoor heat, with all the windows shut up for the winter is particularly bad for your mucous membranes. When your nose gets dried out it makes you more suseptible to cold and flu germs. So drink tons of water, which I have just started doing, to try and keep the external and internal dryness at bay!

I should moisturize everything, but I don't have time. So, I moisturize my face everyday and just use a moisturizing body wash in the shower for all my other places.
