No, it's a necessary part of the human reproductive system.

I don't particularly go with the idea that everything that befalls
humans is some vengeance from God thing. That's man-made
stuff to scare people straight!
The muenstral cycle is a blessing. It gets the unfertilized egg
out of a womans body before it decays and makes a woman
sick.
I'm begining to get a little light above my head the past few
days. That the birth pains might be do to the baby fighting
to keep from leaving a womans body!
I suggested years ago, before I ever heard it in medical
circles, that they should have women birth in warm water.
That's just common sense since the child is in a fluid in the womans body.
I had a dream the other night, about a Native woman giving birth. There was a drum beating in the backgroud.
I wonder if a recording of a heartbeat would also help a mother and child to ease the pangs of birthing?

It doesn't say. It only states that women will have pain during childbirth and that man will have to work the ground. I know some Baptists think that is part of the curse, but you won't find it stated like that in the Bible.

Sister, Yes, Before the curse, a woman had the perfect law of reproduction in her, when it would be time for her to bring another offspring , that law would set in & she would have went to Adam & their offspring would be born with eternal life, If you look in Gen. Chapter 3 You can find the curse, The serpent WAS NOT & I say again was NOT a snake & neither was an apple the cause of the curse, EVERY TREE in the garden was good for food, Gen. 1:29 But the 2 trees that was in the MIDST of the garden did not grow out of the ground, all the other trees grew out of the ground, These other 2 trees was laws of reproduction. & satan knew if he could mess up that law then he will think that he could overcome God, No one can over come God, Therefore Satan inticed that serpent that was a upright creature to be a loboror for Adam, that serpent inticed Eve into a sexual relation for the sole purpose of pleasure, therefore she concieved & Cain is the son of the serpent not Adam, Then Eve knowing this act can be for pleasure also inticed Adam to partake of it too out of God TRUE productive law, Then Eve also conceived & therefore had 2 babies in her womb, Cain & Abel, now go to Gen. 3:14 when God came to putting the curse on mankind, he first went to the serpent first to start the cursing process, He told the serpent, That NOW & NOT UNTIL THEN that he will go upon thy belly into that reptile family, Adam & Eve both watch their worker being stripped of his legs & arms, Then God goes to Eve, Gen.3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will GREATLY multiply thy SORROW(PAIN) & thy CONCEPTION, from that time until now no woman can know when she can concieve, God took that knowledge away from woman, But he never took it away from the animal kingdom, Then God went to Adam & told Adam that from now on you will work & eat Bread by the sweat of thy face, why, Because now Adam do not have a laboror, . In Jude it say that ENOCH is the 7th from Adam, If we try to make Cain a son of Adam then Enoch will be # 8, I will run Adams seed line for you & remember a seed line is always the first male, Now here is Adam's seed line # 1 Abel, # 2 Seth # 3 Enos # 4 Cainan # 5 Mahalaleel # 6 Jared # 7 Enoch, You can also run the serpent & Cain's seed line, & you had only 2 seeds line up until Gen. 6:1-7 That is where those 2 seed lines began to mix.

The Bible only states that the pain of birth will be increased and that woman's craving will be for her husband and he will dominate her.

Menstruation is essential part of our reproduction as mammals. But I don't think animals suffer as much pain just as it seems like they have little pain while giving birth. So maybe we weren't supposed to have the pain... I've heard that painful periods are not suppose to be normal anyhow and that pain during periods is part of PMS/PMT.

Well death is the curse and the penalty for what happened. menstruation is just the natural cycle of the female. God cursed women for the reason she chose to not be obedient to God and chose for her own self what will be right and wrong.

I wouldn't think so. It's pretty integral to reproduction, unless God came in and totally reworked her system. Without menstruation, it would have been rather pointless and potentially harmful to engineer the system of an egg rising each month without its being shed if unfertilized.

no, it's an essential part of our being. It may not be pleasent but neither are many human bodily functions so I wouldn't call it a curse. Anyway, keeps you healthy and clean... even if it is awful.

No. It is not a curse it is a beautiful part of the reproduction cycle.

Perhaps, but if so, I wonder how the reproductive system worked before that. Maybe before the curse, menstruation (for Eve) wasn't uncomfortable or painful or messy. I can understand it being pain-free, but mess-free would be hard to imagine.
