The Second, Third, and Seventh District Courts, as well as the Supreme Court of Tennessee have ruled that mandating AA and by extension any 12step rehab) is a violation of the Establishment Clause. The Supreme Court of the United States has refused to consider overturning these decisions, so it is more-or-less the law of the land that mandating AA is illegal.
Any lawyer should be able to beat this one. Try the ACLU or Legal Aid, they work pro bono cases or fine a lawyer willing to work on a contingency basis.
If you are sentenced to AA meetings, your life could be put on hold forever. You'll need a sponsor in the program who will tell the courts how well you doing (becoming another faceless drone), if you do not measure up to the sponsor's expectations, you can still end up in jail. You might not be drinking, but he might give you a poor report if you fail to embrace whatever concept of a "higher power" he has.
You're still out of luck on the disorderly conduct charge, you should probably cut back or quit before you run into more serious charges. Keep in mind that especially in small cities and towns, once the local police has made up their minds you are a jerk, they'll go out of their way to treat you like one.

You could try the justice department but basicly you out of luck. Most police departments are corrupt and the court system protects the police department so what you have is a failed system of justice. Here in Milwaukee the police department is so bad the paper can't keep up with the stories and check this out, while an officer is suspended they still get paid! They beat a guy have to death at a cop party and none of the guys will see any jail time.

The mere fact you refuse to divulge this place casts doubts upon your creditability. One woman in jail for 6 months can leave pregnant. Especially if she already was when she went in. I doubt "everyone" has complained. In fact I think what you may mean to say is "everyone who hasn't a shred of creditability" has complained. In fact...are you sure you aren't in South America and not the US? Quite frankly sir....you sound as though you are unbalanced. The Internet is not the forum for this tripe unless you have real proof. Which you are severely lacking. In fact...if there WAS any real truth it wouldn't be YOU that would be trumpeting this nonsense here. The major news networks would have it as well as the federal and state governments vying for a position in front of the cameras. I'm afraid at this juncture I must side with the opinions of you from the folks over at your local city hall.

If you have a reputation as a raving drunk, you're basically out of luck, regardless of whether the system screwing you is corrupt or not.
Take it to trial if you really think you're right. They can't do anything if you don't have a lawyer, court-appointed (Catch 22) or otherwise, unless you admit wrongdoing.

I can't help you, I have no clue. But it really sounds like you've been a victim of the court system, I hope everything turns out well for you.
