I overheard one of my aunts co-workers who asked about her boyfriend, and she said something about him and said "he" then quickly said "she".

Why won't she tell me she's dating someone? I tell her all the time, when I'm going on a date, so why is she keeping all this from me?

Is this really a big deal?

Never in her life or since I known her, has she ever told me about the men she dates, yet she's always asking me about the women I'm with, or personal stuff about me, while it's none of my business.

It's not a big deal and really none of your business. Some people don't like to introduce their "dates" until they know where the relationship is going. It might be a small fling that isn't important enough to introduce to the family. I am sure when she knows where she stands in her relationship she will discuss it, until then don't worry about it. Its not your concern.

It really depends on you whether it's a big deal. As much as we don't like it sometimes, everyone is entittled to their own privacy. Maybe she doesn't feel comfortable telling you just yet, or maybe this boyfriend is not a serious one. If you are really really bothered about it, ask her straight out. It could turn out to be a big misunderstanding.

I don't understand the beginning of your question. It is up to your aunt who she tells. No, it's not a big deal and that's why you shouldn't be bothered by it.

It might be a big deal to her. You should talk to your aunt. She probably has good reasons for not wanting you to know!

no...not a big deal..maybe she doesn't want to jinx it and is waiting to see if the person is worth having you know about...I wish my LOSER sister had done this with a few of her LOSER boyfriends...cause meeting them all ( I'm 7 yrs older than her!)...let's just say I could have done without those headaches!

if she said he then she, i guess it is some sort of BI SEXUAl relationship.
Because you cannot mistake your boyfriend for a she nor can you mistake you girlfriend for a he.
A lot of people find homosexuality dirty and dishonest and try to hide it from family members,
as jerry seindfeld said "not thats there's anything wrong with that!"
Good luck!
