I have to agree. You need to be very self assured to have a cat as a pet. They
can be very moody. It's really not hard to understand why more people like
dogs. They are not very difficult to please or control. Cats have their own mind.

Excuse me. Lucy C. Tabby has trained me to play fetch with her. This cat likes to knock around the tops of 20oz soda bottles. When I would finish a soda I would toss the cap for her to chase. One time when I did this she got the idea- "hey this was fun. I wonder if I brought it back to her if she would throw it again? I can try." So she brings it back and starts doing the leg rub thing. So I throw it. And she brings it back again. "Good now you've got it human. Boy these hairless apes learn fast."
The real cool thing is that "fetch" is only played when the Cat wants to do it. People come over and I say "you want to see her do her trick?' Then I have to add that if she's not in the mood, there will be no show. She's got her own agenda.

The Samurai Pizza Cats could kick the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' asses any day of the week, that's for sure.

Thats why it pisses me off when people are so quick to say they hate cats or that their creepy and stuff. If they'd only take the time, they'd see how totally awesome and different they all are. They all have different personallities like people. They're all different.

I agree! You need to talk to my husband. He wants a dog. He says they are so much smarter then our cat. I tell him that I like dogs to but dogs just seem like such pushovers! I wont say they are stupid but try telling my cat to obey your every command like a child. She will lift up her tail and walk away with her butt in your face. I like the fact that they have their own personality and think they OWN you. I love my cat, she is a part of my family.

And for the record, my cat chases balls, toy mice, bottle caps, pens...etc.. and she brings them back to me everytime.

I love my cat!!! He follows me always follows me around when I'm at home, and he keeps me company by sleeping in my room every night!!! But that's not pathetic because I won't be alone when I'm older. I'm only in high school.

YES !! I must agree with you !! I have a few myself, and let me tell you, they DO expect you to earn their attention ! It is funny as well if you make them mad; because they then will ignore you for sometime. lol.
