Buy some Frontline from your vet, its not too expensive and it lasts for a month at a time. You get 3 treatments so for £10-£15 every 3 months its great.

For a quick fix, go to your vet and purchase Capstar, it's a pill for killing fleas, then the very next day apply Advantage.
Works great, I use both products on my cats during flea season.
Hope this helps.

Give it a bath in flea and tick shampoo it's not gonna be pretty for they don't like water but I use to give my cats a bath once a week and they try and fight you just wear a hoodie sweat shirt and be prepared for the worst but then your kitten will be flea less. Good Luck or you could just take it to a groomer and they will do all the dirty work for you,

With the advice of your vet regarding dosage, since I don't know the age of your kitten, ask him about Advantage. It usually works well on helping get rid of fleas on kittens/cats.

I have used eucalyptus oil on both cats and dogs. Soak a cotton ball with this stuff and put around house. Also sprinkle down the cats back. Fleas hate it.
