wh d'you need the 'information?' are you writing a film? or do you want to engineer a real life situation? are you writing a story? or are you just a curious so & so?
i'll answer your question anyway.
i know how it sounds, but although i love all my family, how far i go would have to depend on which member of the family it is.
i have three sisters, i love them all equally in different ways the oldest one though, gets herself into trouble with a copiously eclectic mouth for inciting trouble. it's likely that she would be wrong and since she generally behaves when i'm around her, it's not likely that i'd be there if something happened...
if it came to it i'm not sure if i'd think if it was a choice between murder or my dad's life...
i'd run through fire, broken glass, through bullets, through hopeless restraints for my mum and any other person that i love.
if my arm was broken, i'd use the stubs, the broken bones to survive for them. if it meant saving my sister's life would run on my thigh bones if necessary.
knowing myself however, i'd probably still do this for a complete stranger

This is a double sided razor..cause when it comes to the ones I love (dad, husband and children..) there's NO length that I wouldn't go.. legally or not!! When my mom was given less than two months to live...I tried to MAKE her get better by waiting on her hand and foot...making sure she took her meds EVERYTHING...She asked my father to help her stop hurting sooo much...He says now he wished he had given her just a little too much of her pain meds...(there was ONE that IF taken the wrong way would result in death!) Because seeing her in that much pain and suffereing the way she was...Hurt more than he'd ever experience before. AND I think that if I had been asked by her to do the same...I would have helped....watching someone you love THAT much die...Kills you inside!!!
