No I believe that Abraham and Moses really existed...Noah is a little Scetchy to me since so many other cultures have a similar flood story. Noah just might be one translation of a name...but its hard to know who was a real person and who wasn't. But I believe that Moses was a person and so was Abraham.

There is doubt as to the stories that are written about them. I'm sure people lived during those times with those names, but I don't put any faith in the stories. Noah's flood is too much like the one in the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Epic is much older. The others seem just like legends, like Robin Hood or King Arthur... they may have existed at one time, but the stories are embellished in order to make them appear to be greater than they are.

according to Genetic studies, about 40000 years ago, when the homo sapience species already existed for 160000 years, the population of homo sapience diminished to very few individuals, maybe so few as to have only one male and four females in the genetic pool, this number fits with the story of Noah, were only he, his wife, 3 sons (who have the genetic makeup of Noah and his wife) and 3 wives of his sons survived.
I don't know if Abraham existed, but in the town he was supposed to be buried (Hebron, in Judea, south of Jerusalem) there is a holy place exactly matching the description of Abraham's Grave, including four ancient graves in an underground chamber.
I don't know if Moses ever existed, but among Jews there is a Special class of people, all with the surname Cohen, which means server in the temple, and Genetic study of all these males named Cohen indicate they all descend from a single man, which fits exactly the Jewish Description Of Aaron, the brother of the mythical Moses.

People with those names probably existed, but other than that, I have no idea. When you're reading about events that supposedly took place thousands of years ago, there should be AT LEAST a little doubt involved. Personally, I have a lot of doubt, especially given the fact that those people aren't nearly as well-documented in history as other figures from the time.

I think it's funny that some people are so adamant that people from millenia ago must have existed while others are trying to prove that the Holocaust didn't happen while there are still survivors around.

Yes, I think there's doubt. At the same time, this isn't really an issue that's significant enought to me to waste much time on.

no-and Moses said "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls."

the blood sacrifice is our way to forgiveness of sins-and Jesus said he would be the lamb of God John chapters 1-3 to take away the sins of the world. I as a Jew prayed and recieved him as my Messiah savior and best friend-Revelation 1:1 spoken from heaven 3:-19-20 He knocks on each heart to come in and deliver from sins and be our blood atonement-and best friend-I did it-peace be unto you-and may you too-in His amazing grace
why not believe the prophets-I do 100%

They are all fictional characters in a book of bronze-age jewish mythology.
There are no actual sites of thier graves, that's why you always hear of a place being described as "the TRADITIONAL resting place" of moses or whomever. That's because it's become tradition to describe the place as such. But, like all such traditions, it's nothing more than trying to legitimize a myth.
In this day and age, that kind of ignorance is unforgivable.

There's doubt, sure. These people are meant to have existed a very long time ago, and I've not read any hard historical evidence to suggest they existed. I'm not saying there is no such evidence, I just haven't looked for it. I don't really care whether they existed or not. They probably did.

Noah is bit dubious, the flood is very common story, must be very very ancient before the spread from Eurasia
Abraham and moses were most likely real people, hard to handle on nomadic peoples
i wonder though about Arab clams to descendant from them though, they were Jewish
did Mohamed claim a linkage to a kn won and well document people like the Jews when he was creating his religion?
to give arabs and his new religion a bit of credabilty?
pre Islamic Arab worship practices are very un Jewish

There is no doubt in my mind, If God's word says it, that is enough for me, Can I prove that you exsisted, only by your question, I can see many traces of the flood, why do you think they have found fossils of fish high in mountains.
