"I think you're a really nice guy, but it's just not working for me and I think it's better if we don't see each other anymore. I'm sorry, but it has to work for both of us and it doesn't, not for me."

And when he protests, which he surely will:

"I have to do what is right for me, not what is right for you."

Stick to your guns and keep it direct, go round the houses and he will try to find ways to break through your defences. Good luck, hope you find the right guy.

Well as long as he doesn't know where you live than send him a text saying work has transfered you to France for 6months and wouldn't be around. When he ring don't answer the phone, after 2weeks he will get the message.

Or you could do something really crazy like call him up and tell him the truth:-
'I don't want to date you again because there is no chemistry'.

Arrange to meet him in a public area, eg: town square, during daylight hours. You should feel more confident in these surroundings.

Tell him, "Sorry, but I don't feel the same way as you do, about me" -and that you can stay friends, but not in a relationship. Tell him also, that he should now meet another girl, if he wants a romantic kind of friendship.

Hope everything goes well for you.

Tell him the truth..tell him you had a really nice time on the date...but there just isn't a spark for you...and you hope the best for him...then back slowly away turn and run!!!

Being honest is the best way..doing it by phone(HATE THIS WAY!)..if he won't take no for an answer face to face..

Develop an annoying habit next time you meet him just for a coffee and make him reject you, if you feel so guilty about it. Blow your nose on your sleeve. Laugh like a nerd. Tell him you drink human blood and worship Satan. But if you couldn't be bothered to go to all that trouble - just don't return his calls. He should take the hint.

If you dont want to see him again, just dont go on another date with him wen he asks, and tell him you have some one else in your mind or life. Even if you dont have yet.

It will break him, but relieve you.

The courteous thing is to say to his face: 'you're very nice but I don't want to see you again' and then give your reason. And be honest, but gentle!

Alternatively you could text him or phone him, but that's not the nicest way of being let down.

you have to be straight to the point and honest .

Dont mislead him , im sure in the long run he will be greatful.

Nobody likes having to tell somebody they dont want to see them again ,but treat thenm how you would like to be treated .

i dumped a boy once ,i was totally honest ,met him face 2 face and said its not working out and he started crying ,i know i made teh right decision to finish with him .

When he calls and asks you out again just tell him no - you don't think it will work out. If he says why then tell him you don't think of him that way.
