If it's far from the eyes or any sinus area, you can try using keratolytics such salycilic acid (possible brand: Duofilm). The goal is to dry up and shrink the wart. If it doesn't work, you can have it cauterized by a doctor. Check for presence of other warts too, because warts caused by human papilloma virus not only appears anywhere throughout the body, but can also be transmitted to others by touch.

Depends what sort of wart it is. Best thing is to go and see your doctor. They may be able to freeze it off, this may take a few goes. Alternatively they may be able to cut it off or dig it out, depending on where it is. They are hard to get rid of and usually will eventually go away, see your doctor for advice on your particular wart.

i once used the bandaids wart remover. it takes about a week to work and i bought it at cvs for about $10. i also used the scholls wart freezer but it didn't work to well. two weeks ago i went to my dr. office because i had a wart that irritated my nail bed so the dr. froze it off with nitrogen.

Go to the doctor. The doctor will remove them. I have had the procedure done. It doesn't hurt. They freeze the wart.

have it cauterized....your doctor will apply topical anesthesia to your wart so it wont hurt...you will only feel the sore few hours after it was cauterized and during the healing process of the scar. i had tiny warts in my face and i had it removed by my dermatologist. there was a cream prescribed to me for faster healing. there were scabs but when they started to fall off im not seeing any scars in my face..have them removed as early as now

Liquid nitrogen is a good way, but if you don't have any of that at home, then 60% salicylic acid is another way. Dont bother with that preparation W stuff that is under 10%. That is just too wimpy!
