Saturday I went to a halloween party and had face paint on and it got on my eyebrow ring which was two months old. I went to remove the ring and it wouldnt move so I had to forcefully pull it out and its sealed up now. Any idea what cause it to get stuck even with spinning and cleaning?

Also. My lip ring is to the right and it has a captive bead ring in it. Its a little over a month old and it sometimes feels like the inside rips around the ring and it becomes tender. I dont play with the ring only to clean it. For some reason it wont become clean either. Any ideas to fix this problem?

The eyebrow ring probably has build up on the inside. Use a warm sea salt soak for about 20 minutes on the spot. But you should not have tried to remove the jewelry. By forcefully pulling it you probably tore the inside causing it to get irritated. You weren't very specific about 'sealed up now'. Assuming that means you took the jewelry out and it either won't go back in or the piercing closed. If it won't go back in, don't force it and if the hole closed, consider it a lesson learned; you'll have to get it re-pierced, there is nothing you can do about that. Either way, you should have been more careful, costume or not, ruining a piercing for Halloween doesn't sound like it was worth it. Keep in mind it's a month old and it takes 4-6 to heal on average. Be patient, keep in clean.

As far as your lip ring goes, CBRs can often be hard to manage for new piercings. It doesn't matter if you play with it or not, the fact is you eat, talk and use your mouth for numerous things those movements irritate the piercing. Again for the mouth, use a good warm sea salt soak on the outside and get a non-alcohol mouthwash and hold the solution in your mouth for a minute, then rinse and repeat again.

Hint: you really shouldn't get too many piercings at a similar time. Let one heal before you move on, unless you are more careful and loving to your piercings.

The eyebrow ring was probably clogged up with the yellowish crust that develops inside - I don't think you should have pulled it out though. Give your lip some more time to heal, but if you're unsure about ANY piercing you have, no matter how old it is, go and see your piercer. They have an obligation to make sure their work has been done properly and that you're healing right. Good luck!

I think lip and eyebrow piercing is fairly odd. It covers ur natural beauty of the face. I think u should permanently remove those. Then u can distinguish between ur old n new natural bona fide beauty of the face. Good Luck!! Naf :-)

You have to be DILIGENT about "spinning" and "cleaning" the skin is growing shut at the piercing site when things end up getting stuck....MORE SPINNING required.
