Antibiotic lotion for infected spots. Retinol cream preferably under medical supervsion. The best treatment is a immunisation - a doctor at a hospital in London does it. He makes you immune to the bacteria that cause the spots! Laser treatment can make the scars look better. I assume you have tried all the benoxyl lotions.

I had the same problems. My acne was actually worse in 20's than it was in my teens. Find a doctor who endorses Accutane. As long as you 1) are not trying to have children and 2) follow all the doctor's orders relating to blood test and etc., it is really a miracle drug for acne.

Changing diets also helps some people. Try to cut down on meat, dairy products and junk food, and add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. When I became a vegetarian for 6+ months I had the best skin ever. No breakouts! I had removed junk food from my diet and was eating mostly fruits and veggies. Now since i gave in to the pressure and eat meat once in a while, I do breakout! hmmm....

Have you tried the LUSH company they are brilliant- if you go in and explain the problem they will be able to recommend products for you- they also may give you samples before you buy. I swear by the stuff.

Just re. the creams you are using /have used.. I'm sure I read somewhere that they are to be used for 2 months consistently before you rule out each antib. also you have to cover ALL surrounding skin too - maybe and inch around affected area. hope it helps

Are you sure its not allergy to something, slapping all that stuff on.

I thought there was a special type of antibiotics you could take? Is you skin naturall oily?
