Can someone educate me on this question, this is in no way an attack on India, its just that they never seem to get mentioned in any reports on the war on terror.
In fact they seem to be a peaceful nation.
Are they part of the Allies?

Er... it's the 'all this terrorism' bit that's throwing me. I think you need to know that India is a mainly Hindu state (85% ish) and so not as likely to take offence at Bush's Crusade (sorry, War) on Islam (sorry, Terror).
However, given the recent bombings in Mumbai and in Delhi a few years ago, the constant struggle for Kashmir plus all the sectarian violence that rears its ugly head far too often, to say India has nothing to do with 'all this terrorism' ain't quite right.

Muslim fundamentalist terrorism is aimed against infidels this does include Hindus in India. Last year there were approx 14,500
Muslim fundamentalist terrorist attacks against infidels about 11,500 were against Hindus in India especially in Kashmir.
India is part of the international coalition which is fighting the War on Terror along with over 100 other Nations

India is in fact doing a lot. Problem is US needs Pakistan to fight westwards whilst Pakistan adopts terrorism eastwards. Obviously US looks west not east. I'd say double standards by both US & Pakistan.

Yes. I like Indians too. I dont think they are part of the war on terror as the're surrounded by Muslim states. I think they have an on going fight with Pakistan over whio owns Kashmir. Other than that i don't really know.

THEY NEVER INTERFERE WITH TERRORISM AND ARE IF LEFT ALONE A FRIENDLY NATION IN ENGLAND WE HAD A PEACEFUL DEMO MORE FUNNY TO US THAN AN INCIDENT OVER CRASH HELMETS VERSES TURBANS. BRILLIANT NATION OF PEOPLE
