I dont see how you can be looking foward to this. This may be better than most of recent fights, b/c at least baldi has earned a a shot, but Mayweather is going to make make him look horrible. This will be just another lopsided fight showcasing floyds skills. And for the people saying Baldomir is a big WW...he's not. Personally Im sick of Foyd and wont be checking out any of PPV fights until he steps up the competition. I want to see him in there with a big, tough, busy welter like Paul Williams or Antonio Margarito. I'd probably even get excited about him fighting Cintron after the way he looked over the weekend. A fight with Cotto or Collazo would be more interesting than this but I dont think they have what it takes. He just needs to step it up and go for greatness. Unitl then Im not paying

I don't see Baldomir beating Floyd. That's too bad I am not a fan of Mayweather. It's not so much his trash talking but comparing yourself to Ali and Robinson as one of the greats irks me. Especially when the quality of competition is no where near what both those men fought.
I don't see Floyd knocking out Baldomir. I am going to pick an unconventional ending. I think Baldomir will fight an exceptional fight, at times confuse Floyd, by not following him to the ropes and mounting a fairly good body attack (something he is not known for). But Floyd's speed will be a little too much, and he will win a split decision.

Frank ~
In my opinion, this is going to be a boring, lopsided fight in Mayweathers favor. I think the speed factor is just way too much for Baldomir. I would pray to the boxing Gods that Carlos catches Floyd with a big shot and puts him down for the full ten count, but in reality, I don't think that this will happpen.
I'm hoping that this fight will be one that people will be talking about for years to come, that all the plantes line up and there's World peace as this fight is taking place. I hope that Floyd sticks his chin out there just a little bit too long. I hope that the extra weight slows Floyd down just a hair more. I hope that Floyd turns to talk to Jim Lampley during the fight one too many times. I hope that Floyd has a little bit a trouble with Carlos and panics because his Uncle Roger isn't there (He's locked up for beating a woman) I hope Floyds legs cross as he switches to the Southpaw stance. I hope, I hope.
There's so much that people would love to see happen in this fight and I would be one of them. There's no one that likes Floyd as much as Floyd does and he's truly his biggest fan. Wouldn't it be nice to watch him get knocked on his a** just once? How do you think he would handle himself? Would his corner rush the ring and try assulting the referee or Carlos? Would he swear even after watching the replay where it was obvious it was a clean knock down that he slipped? I'd like some answers to these questions.
There's a reason why Carlos was picked by Team Mayweather and it's not because he's the best out there. There's a reason why Team Mayweather turned down six million dollars more to fight Antonio Margarito. There's a reason for all of this Frank and what that reason is other than not being exposed is beyond me.

I'd love to see Mayweather fight a good fighter and not duck them for example Margarito. I'm hoping that Baldomir would win it but it's highly unlikely.

it should be a good fight and for the record baldomir called mayweather out. so it will be interesting fight, baldomir is known to walk around at 185-190 pounds that's a lot of weight i hope Floyd can handle his punching power. Floyd is a great though so it should be a great one i don't see Floyd knocking him out. I think he will but but not by a knock out.

Floyd will win easily.
HBO has been hyping mismatches for years......and they fool the public way too much.
Baldomir is a tough fighter, but not tougher than Jose Luis Castillo or Deigo Corales.....and Floyd beat them both.
As far as someone saying Baldomir cannot be KOd, that is false, he has been KOd before by a no name fighter in Argentina.
When HBO says he hasnt lost in 9 years, thats true, but he has drawn three times in that period.....
