Food today does not contain enough nutrients, we need to take a multivitamin.
Even food that is grown organically probably is not good enough. Our land
is not as rich as it once was. There are more environmental poisons. We
eat more fast foods which include lots of fats...less nutrients. You need a
multivitamin. The calories involved are not substantial.

I don't know about the calories but if you eat the recommended amt of veggies and fruits you do get enough vitamins.
