are you wanting to make the right fertilizer?
What sort of plant do you want to grow?
you need the correct n P K ratio plus micronutrient and trace elements?
If in doubt, use a flower and fruit fertilizer, it will have a little bit less nitrogen but more potassium

eat healthy food & use the 'nutrient solution' from that, combine it with good watering, good sunlight and i think you'll do fine
