They were soft jellys shaped like fruit and when you bit into them there was a liquid centre they were DELICIOUS. IT may just have been a Scottish thing. But I live in Wales now and I want some!

I'd never heard of them (I live in the U.S.), so I Googled "Newberry Fruits (I KNOW, I spelled it wrong!), however, there is information on the web about this product. Do a Google search and find out more!

Yes they still exist. Not sure where you live in Wales but good sweet shops should have them - Howells, here in Cardiff in their deli section, is worth a try. They are sold in rectangular boxes ~ green, I think.
