ABSOLUTELY! Get a reputable vet to do it and don't even attempt it prior to 5 months. A good vet won't do it any earlier than that. Not all males become less active after neutering. Many get more active. (I've had 5 that did in my life.) Please do this. Your house will smell better and you won't have to worry about the little guy getting another cat "in trouble".

Yes, and I recommend getting it done after they are 8 weeks old. I have a male and a female and both were fixed as kittens. My male has never sprayed and doesn't roam. He was kind of wild when I first got him but after he was neutered he has calmed down alot. It took him a little longer to recover from the anthestisia than my female though. My vet told me it will lower his risk for certain types of cancers later in life. That is always a bonus. Plus, no worries of him getting my female or anyone elses pregnant if he gets out.

Of course! Your cat has a safe way to get this helpful operation done! YOur cat doesn't need to go outside and that means that your cat will live longer

If you take to a vet and not do it yourself !! and yes this way unwanted kittens don't have to be found homes or taken to a shelter to be put to sleep if they aren't found homes and your male cat wont have to pay kitten support and you will be a responsible pet owner , he wont want to roam the neighborhood looking for a mate safe and effective for your cat make sure he gets all those cats shots also !!

Sure is, and it's a good idea to do so. Don't forget the necessary shots as well. If your cat lives indoor it will have a longer life. My cat is now 16 years old.

yes, but I wouldnt advise doing it yourself if thats what you're asking.
If you are asking about age and health, I got my male cat neutered at 4 and a half months. He was very healthy and recovered very quickly and he never, ever did spray anything and it did calm him down alot.

If your cat hasn't got any underlying medical/ health problems, is in good health, and is over 6 months of age, yes, it's safe.

yes, it will help mellow him out and if he isn't spraying it will keep him from starting. As long as your cat is like 5 or 6 months. call the vet today to make an appointment.

Mine were done last Friday at 6 months - females. I picked them up 3 hours after they regained consciousness and aside from the shaved patches from the op, I would not have known they had been done. They were completely normal, except suddenly they were twice as affectionate.
