I say In the name of Allah, All-Merciful, the Mercy-Giving and say Shukrunlillah when I finish my food or any work that I started with saying Bismillah.
As for other religion is concern I don't know what they say at the start and what they say when they finish their meal or work. You can guess what they say from the answers you received.

I am a born again Christian. We do not have a tradition or specific prayer to say before eating or working. As I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I ask Him to bless and cleanse everything that goes into my mouth, and I ask Him to help me work as unto Him, and to help me to be productive and efficient in my work and to make my employers proud of me.

Before meal - 'Thanks, angel!" to my wife.
After meal - "That was fabulous, darling!" to my wife.
Before work - "Hi, Joe! How about those Yankees!!??"
After work - "See ya tomorrow, Joe!"
I have no religion. It's MUCH easier when one is free of all that nonsense.
