If your urine smells bad, it is also probably a strong yellow colour too. This is because you are not taking in enough fluids during the day and this makes your urine quite concentrated. If you drink more fluid (water) it will make a big difference to the colour and also the smell. A couple of extra glasses each day will make a big difference.

I used to have the same problem. My urine really stank, like rotten meat or something as foul. The doc operated and stretched my urethrer, as my urine wasn't draining completely, and some was remaining in the bladder and going stagnant. Very gross! Sorry. But it fixed the problem. Haven't had it since

see the dr for a test for urine infection, or could be something you`re eating, asparagus and fish in particular are culprits, its really a matter of trial and error to find out what food it is, btw sugar puffs will make your urine smell sweet, its the honey

the reason your urine has a strong smell is due to the intake of food, and drinks you take.... drink plenty of water and change your eating habits.. that should help with the smell..
