No. 200 crunches will probably tighten your ab muscles but it certainly will do virtually nothing to remove flab. To remove flab, you must consume less calories than you burn, so that your body is forced to consume flab to feed itself.
Cardio exercise is one way to do this -- since cardio exercise burns a tremendous amount of calories.
You may also try some weight lifting. The more muscle mass you can add, the more calories you'll burn. At rest, muscle consumes calories just for support, so you'll burn flab automatically.
You may find it helpful to track your food intake by using a website such as http://www.fitday.com. It's free and tracks food as well as activities. Try to consume 500 calories LESS than you need per day to a steady progress of weight loss.
Also, be patient. Weight loss / flab loss doesn't occur overnight. It may take months of dieting and exercise before you see a significant result -- but it will come with dilligence.
Good luck.

U will strengthen the muscle but burning fat requires more calories to be expended then calories taken in.... U will burn some but slowly.... Do a 1/2 hour cardio and two or three sets of crunches with a good diet and most MOST MOST importantly!!!! Hydrate yourself properly!! 1oz of water per pound. Doing this will cause the body to shed a min of 10 to 15 lbs in a 30 days ... Really!

in case you do the comparable workout, your physique gets used to it and could no longer lose something. you would be able to desire to ask your self it. Uphill sprints, staying power runs. additionally, that's stable to enhance weights that paintings out great areas of your physique (bench press, squats). it may sound stupid, yet working great communities like that for the time of your physique speeds your metabolism to lose those lil flabs. you do no longer would desire to do weighted crunches till your abdomen is already toned and additionally you are trying to function on ab muscular tissues. in basic terms throwing in my enter on how I do it. i'd run 12-14 miles a week yet that doesn't help. Gotta ask your self that physique like I reported. Do new issues. And the # a million subject is foodstuff plan, consume 5-6 small nutrients each 3 hours and consume water, it will provide you capability which burns fat. If that's unfastened flab, then you definately will need surgical treatment or face the genetic data.

Nope. Crunches won't do anything to get rid of fat. You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Its a well known fact that you cant "spot" train. By spot training I mean concentrate on one specific area. Cardio is required, but also lots of other core excercises. and a full weight programme.
The flab around the belly is always the last / hardest place to lose from.

No. You need a combination of both. Your crunches will strengthen your abdominal muscles, but only by loosing weight (eating healthy and burning calories through cardio) can you loose body fat.
