Hello bluebootz.. :)

Matthew 7

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.

2 For with the judgement you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.

3 Why do you see the speck in your neighbour’s* eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?

4 Or how can you say to your neighbour,* “Let me take the speck out of your eye”, while the log is in your own eye?

5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbour’s* eye.

what the rule book says is do not condemn. If we are to help one another we must make judgements, judgments in love. Lets see you are a siz 12 and there is this extra baggage can I help you carry that burden so you can get down to that size 6 you have been desiring.

Judgement plays an important part of loving but often we use it backwards if a person stinks instead of taking him swimming we stay up wind.

Am I rollen with the figures of speech or what.

judge is a term with many meanings. However, to judge someones character by their behavior is not a bad form of judgement. It merely means to look at and assertain if that person is doing what is rightor okay with you.The judgement God is speaking of not doing is looking at someone and saying I have looked at your behavior, found it lacking, and therefore you are going to hell. You are supposed to be able to discern (judge) if someone is acting outside of God's laws but even if you find them sinning, you are still to love the sinner not the sin.In that way you are judging the behavior but not sinding yourself judging the person and doling out punishment, which is God's job.

Behaviour is better than anything else, but we shouldn't judge at all

We should not judge people. But if we judge them it should be for what they do.But what they believe often dictates what they do and that is why they get judged for what they believe.

Oh yes, we should judge only on their behavour. Otherwise there would be no room for evaluation.

Judge them not at all. That's our job. That's life. Welcome to Jesus 101.
