Photoshop has a tool for this. It doesn't always work as planned, though.
Here's something that you can do with ANY software. Sample a dark color, preferably one matching the iris of your subject. Set your brush at (say) 25% opacity. Go over the red area a few times until you get the effect that you want. Be sure to leave SOME highlight in the center of the eyes so they don't look dead.

try to download or have a software of ACDSee. Simple to use. There is a command there where you could apply red eye reduction in all your pictures. I have also tried using Corel and it was OK.
