Greens Warming?

Have the green brigade used the global warming card so often(cried wolf) that world leaders are only paying them lip service.

Yes I aknowledge Global Warming and yes I do a lot of walking and recycling I do wish ppl would read the question before going off on one.

Think of all the money and pollution prevention in walking school buses ect

Yes and no.

Climate change is a real problem that does need to be addressed now before it is too late.

However, I do not agree with the governments approach in taxing the hard-working UK punter further and to me it smells like another Labour stealth tax scheme using the environment as a smoke-screen.

Real change needs to firstly occur in corporations and countries like USA, China and India whose pollution levels makes the UK's look like peanuts. Stinging the UK taxpayers will not make a blind bit of difference in the grand scheme of things and is therefore not the solution.

The best assessment of environmental scientists is that global warming is occurring and current human abuse of the environment is making a significant contribution to the rate at which it is taking place. The Green brigade are effective in making people aware of this. World leaders need to be informed of conditions which seriously affect the world and to take into account the best knowledge and interpretations available on which to base the political decisions they are required to make. There does not seem to be much 'lip service' in their doing this in the case of global warming.

Do you see any of them volunteering to be minister for war??? Sadly we need one whoever is in government.
