my oven has conked out, and the gas man said we need a new thermo coupler.Do the prices vary with different cookers?Mine is a Beumatic range oven.

he was a 'gasman' and he is corgi registered, and he kindly popped in last night to have a quick look,so he could see what needed doing.I wasnt planning to fit it myself!

thermo couplings do not cost much just a couple of pounds last time i needed one.

they may vary slightly in price but they are not expensive

but

you shouldnt fit it yourself it should be done by qualified gas fitter who is Corgi registered.

this will obviously bump the price up for the job as you will have to pay for the labour, but shop around dont get ripped off

If you had a 'Gasman' there why did he not fit a thermocouple at the time. Only Corgi approved fitters are allowed to do gas work, I would contact Baumatic for a service call. 0118 9336 911

Depends where you are in the world. Can cost between £5 - £25 in the UK. Not sure about your gas oven though.
