Yes, indeed! God is real but relegion, it is a form of convenience to many people who make their livelihood in the name of God, Like Sun, rains, wind, water, sky, etc, God is also just one, available to all touches and nourishes all, infact he is a combination of all these which sustains life in this world, but purely for selfish needs people categorieses and confines God into a relegion and try to brainwash people into believing that what they propogate is the true God, they will talk as if they have seen God. Most people have a guilty conciousness thinking that they have sinned and god will punish them, it is inbuild into their mind, there are some who believes that if we go through a religion and please god then they will have lots of prosperity and happiness. The religious people who stand as a self claimed medium between general human beings and god needs such poor tourchered souls to earn their livelihood and comfortable lifestyles. They will even send guiilible people to the streets with weapons to kill others who do not believe them. In fact more people have been killed and wounded in the name of relegion than from all the wars in this world. Imagine killing people because you call water as water, I call it as Pani, someothers call it someting else in their native language, but you feel that every one should call the name you have put. It is madness. It is time people said NO to relegion and YES to God. There is but one god and we all of us are his decendends, so we are all brothers and sisters in a way.

It can be. And I've seen lots of it. But what is brainwashing? It's conditioning and is it a bad thing, always? Most of us willingly go to church and follow the paths of righteousness because we believe that it is the way to go.
Isn't our society at the moment a form of brainwashing? Society is being conditioned into believing that Christians are hypocrites and paedophiles. You look at us through prejudiced eyes.

yeah i got it you are saying it washes brains but it washes which kind of informations? Does it have any damage to our brain or destroying any valuable things from our minds? I think it doesnt wash anything however it injects goodness, love and understanding to the believers.

Religion is the original brainwashing... and money laundering. That's why they kept mentioning that some things were unclean. You sacrifice your wealth a bit, keep your brain washed and it's off to heaven for you. If your lucky no demons or ailments will bother you... otherwise it's all God's plan. Not in the same way as advertising, fashion, media and politics. The Holy Spirit renews the mind of Christians, freeing it from unhealthy influences. I suppose that is a kind of brainwashing.

:) no no no , the religion not a form of brainwashing becouse you must have aright equetion is what after 60 ,70 even 110 life you will face the death and what what is the resoen of life and also is the life only for gaine and spend the mony or just for fun :)) the religion is away of live and a key for a live after the death some people enjoy the life without thinking what will be after death :)

what a fabulous question! this is really a delicate subject, believers will say absolutely not non believers will scream yes! i would say that some are and some are not, extreme groups, definitely are, you know the cults and all that, they are very frightening. good faiths are ones that recognise and accept other peoples religion, they may not agree with them but they do accept them. this question will keep me thinking all day. well done!

Yes.Self brainwashing.The tools are given to people by religion but it is the people who choose to believe in it so strongly that they are ignorant and deaf to anything else.And it is that which is a form of brainwashing and they do it to themselves.
