Aerobic:
1. occurs in presence of oxygen.
2. CO2 and water is produced
3. lot of energy is liberated (38 ATP)
4.occurs in plants' and animals' cells
5. C6H12O6 --> CO2 + H2O + ATP ( Energy)
Anaerobic:
1. occurs in absence of oxygen
2. Lactic Acid or Alchol is produced
3. relatively small energy is liberated (2ATP)
4. occurs in many anaerobic bacteria and human muscle cells.
5. in muscles, lactic acid is produced while bacteria as Yeast produces Alcohol (Ethanol)
6. C6H12O6 --> Lactic acid / C2H5OH + ATP

aerobic respiration occurs in the presence of o2, and anaeribic is without o2. there are normally 3 phases in respiration, glycolysis, krebs cycle and the electron transport chain (oxidative phosphorylation) however when anaerobic respiration takes place, there is not enough oxygen for the process to carry on into the e.t.chain, and lactic acid is produced.
i know thats not four. try googling it or someit. hope that helps at least a little bit!x

In aerobic respiration food is burnt in the presence of oxygen and produces carbon dioxide, ENERGY and water as products.
glucose+oxygen=energy+carbon dioxide+water
Where as in anaerobic respiration food is burnt in the absence of oxygen and lactic acid, carbon dioxide and a little energy is produced.
glucose(no oxygen)= little energy+lactic acid+carbon dioxide
