It is quite natural in your age. Do not worry.
There is no credible scientific or medical evidence that manual masturbation is damaging to either one's physical or mental health. The exception to this includes some cases of Peyronie's disease in which aggressive manipulation, such as inversion during adolescence, and bending or twisting of the penis, results in a localized benign tumor, distorting the erectile appearance.
Contrary to popular myth, masturbation does not make the palms hairy or cause blindness or genital shrinkage. It has also been alleged that masturbation can reduce sensitivity in the male penis. This statement is also false. The only side-effects recorded are that repeated masturbation may result in tiredness or soreness, which tend to make repeated masturbation self-limiting in any case and that the volume of ejaculate is temporarily reduced in men after multiple ejaculations until normal semen volume is regained in a day or so. Also, people from a socially conservative or religious background may experience feelings of guilt during or after masturbation.
It is held in many mental health circles that masturbation can relieve depression and lead to a higher sense of self-worth. Masturbation can also be particularly useful in relationships where one partner wants more sex than the other — in which case masturbation provides a balancing effect and thus a more harmonious relationship.
A medical study says that frequent masturbation by males may help prevent the development of prostate cancer. The study also indicated that this would be more helpful than ejaculation through sexual intercourse because intercourse can transmit diseases that may increase the risk of cancer instead.
Masturbation is also seen as a sexual technique that protects individuals from the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS. In your age if you stop this you try to get hold of some unknown lady and may aquire some diseases.
Some people actually consider masturbation as a cardiovascular workout.
Risks
A study has shown that a test group which only had intercourse had, as a whole, lower blood pressure in stressful situations than those who had intercourse but also had masturbated for one or more days.
Some sources, however, continue to give credence to the idea. One sex therapist (Margolies, 1994) condemned masturbation by rubbing against a pillow or mattress and Lipsith et al (2003) suggest that masturbation could play a part in male psychogenic sexual dysfunction (MPSD), citing Sank as their authority.

there are no bad effects of masturbation go and see a doctor or mental health professional masturbation does not cause these feelings and problems you have everybody masturbates it is a normal function do not feel guilty you have a great deal of social issues that need to be addressed, that are not caused by masturbating there are many thing that can cause these problems don't worry, you do not have to be ashamed of your masturbation, and don't worry that you might be crazy u just need some help in your life like many people do get the help now, while you are young you don't have to live like that also people cannot "see through you" , or read your mind, u only think they do

Masturbation has varied effects for different people. It may or may not have caused one or more symptoms you have been experiencing right now.
Based on what you have shared, i think you are experiencing a sickness which is not exclusive to the effects of masturbation. these symptoms may just have coincided with the start of your masturbating experience.
i have been masturbating for the past 20 years. I may have one or more or your symptoms but definitely it's not because of masturbation. it may have just opened personal issues that you need to explore.
if this really bothers you, it would be better if you consult a doctor and indergo counseling or therapy or talk to someone who has experience.

Sounds to me like you have ADD or ADHD. My 16 year old sister was having those same problems and just recently got diagnosed with ADHD. Tell your parents the problems you're having (just don't bring up the masturbating) and see if they can take you to a doctor to get tested. You are in the most important years of school now, so it is important to be able to focus and make good grades.

masturbation is very bad.I'm 23 yrs old, i used to masturbate since i was 14,and now I'm suffering from erectile dysfunction.as a result,I'm suffering from MDD (major depressive disorder).i received a treatment of antidepressants which increased the erectile dysfunction.I'm very shy to consult a doctor, because I'm too young to have impotence.after i was very clever at school,i became very bad at my college,i flunked many times,my friends had graduated and I'm still in the 3rd year.i think also my eyes have been affected.all these problems came as a result of masturbation.

You are going thru a difficult period - teenagers always do...
I would suggest contacting a doctor - but since you posted here your question I doubt that is among your preferences...
In your case, it might be the feeling of GUILT that is overwhelming... That if no other things happened that might have triggered your "bad" reactions (a shock? some bad news? etc).
Get in control of your mind. Eat healthy (fruits, veggies - oh yes, the type of food IS important). Have FUN with your friends. Read books. Read jokes (memorize one from time to time just to tell it to your friends). Try and exercise daily (mens sana in corpore sano, as latins said - healthy mind in healthy body) Keep your mind occupied with pleasent things. And... try meeting/dating nice girls - maybe you'll end up with a cute girlfriend.
Briefly, if you do something and feel bad, then stop doing it.
Sounds simple, but applying it might be harder. But you have to try. It's up to you. Be a fighter!
One more option - did you try speaking with your folkes? Mom? Dad? Grandpa? Nooo? Is it impossible to talk to them? You think they won't understand? You are ashamed? (ok, here is the guilt thing I was talking about)
If you are not ready or not willing to open yourself to your family or to your doctor then it's really up to you.
And believe me, you CAN do it!

lol... bad eye sight. that's not true. i have been masturbating since i was in the 6th grade about 2-5 times a week, and i have 20/20 vision. (i'm 20 now) masturbation is physically harmless. unless you masturbate until you're raw. it can release a lot of stress and can even help you sleep at night. plus it feels good. don't feel bad about masturbation. i don't know the exact percentage off the top of my head, but somewhere around 95% of guys (admit) to masturbating at least once in their lives, and around 60% of females (admit) to it. and you know there are gonna be a lot of people who don't admit to it. so don't feel bad :)
oh, and people get old, stuff happens to their bodies... erectile disfuncion, bad eye sight, cancer.... it is NOT a result to masturbation. they're all myths.

So, I don't know where you looked during your "heavy research". I looked at papers published by research facilities and top universities and found "Masterbation has a number of good effects, it reduces stress, it increases the effectiveness of the immune system, it creates a natural high because of chemicals that are released and there are a number of other good effects." I SUGGEST THAT YOU GO TO A DOCTOR. I think you may have serious mental health issues.... like paranoid schizophrenia. All of the symptoms you mentioned fit.

the disgusting spot at your nose as not relayted to masterbation.
and as for the mental issues that come with it there more of what you think of the of the act then the effect of the act it self.
when you put this question here you wanted some one to tell you its okay but i wont.
i say if it gives you so much truble then stop. though i must say its a bit hard at 16 but it might lose some of your possible hight becouse of access masturbation.
so unless the other way you use that sexual energy is worce then this one i would say.....stop.
