I have a throbbing pain on the right side of my jaw above and below it as well to my upper neck and ear and eye for the past few days. The pain keeps me up at night and I wish I could just knock myself out. I thought maybe I was flossing too hard before bed so I tried doing that in the morning. I'm worrying that I have a tumor from gum disease, a stroke (both my grandfathers died of heart disease), or MS.

You should get help, and you can probably get help for free or at a discounted price. At worst, you can work out a deal with the hospital or medical facility where you can make periodic payments.

I’ve included links below to a free clinic directory, the Bureau of Primary Health Care that can help you locate country and state health departments, and a page listing Medicaid state sites. Also, the last page has links to state and federal health care programs. Health insurance is usually less expensive as part of group health plan, so you should try and find work that will help you pay for health insurance. When you can afford your own private plan, try MostChoice.com. You can look up free insurance rates and talk with more than one local insurance agent. There’s no cost or obligation to buy anything from anyone, and you might be surprised to find that insurance is more affordable than you think. Some plans are $60 a month and include preventive care such as routine doctor visits.

Hope this helps,

I believe the ER is your only choice. If they cannot do much, they will refer you to the specialist on call. That specialist will be able to set up a payment schedule for you. The ER (who can also take payments) can at least relieve the pain with pain killers and antibiotics (if there is an infection).

Good luck to you. I have been without insurance too, but if you get real sick, you have no choice. Just go ahead and do it and make the payments.

I hope you feel better soon. I can't think of any worse pain.

there's no fee too extreme for well being and peace of ideas. If the worst comes of it, you'll owe your soul to the clinical institution. in case you stumble on out that is in basic terms an infection that needs some relax and antibiotics, then be satisfied you do not owe your soul. i imagine the clinical institution would help you word for medicare which may be an option. attempt to stumble on a charitable clinical hospital by a community Catholic church once you've one. you may also be able to do a walk-in hospital, or attempt to be considered at a school clinical place of work if there is one close by. do in basic terms it. i'd particularly be financially depressing than bodily depressing and fewer than the stress of not understanding. desire you stumble on the extremely lower priced option.

Never be afraid to visit the doctor! Don't be worried about bills. What's more important is your health. You should see a doctor.
What's more important? Having a tumor and not being able to do anything about it, or solving the problem and not worrying about it? You choose. Not to sound harsh or anything.

well that's what doctors are for to solve the problems.
its risky to try and self medicate when there is so much pain involved.
i know one guy who is very very poor he use to gargle with diesel to ease the pain....BUT THAT'S CRAZY!!!
go see a Doctor unless your an illegal immigrant, and if you are an illegal immigrant then you still have to see a doctor.
it could be just inflamed of infection but its risky to just try out anti-bio-tics to cure it without figuring out the type Bactria there.

sounds like an abscess. You need antibiotics and probably a root canal in that case. If not your tooth will die (it may not be the tooth that is hurting but it is more than likely the problem.)
