You can find a good taxidermist through the yellow pages and you can also check out his work ( some are better than others ).
Good luck !

Stuffing is the work of a taxidermist. Your local university must have a zoology department and somebody there may be able to help you.

Do you really want to stuff your pet. ? I would give it a decent burial and remember it always in my heart.

Good luck anyway.

Why don't you do as i have done when my dog died and get him cremated and keep his ashes at home with you?

I don't agree with getting them stuffed as i think you should let him rest in peace and not have all his insides riped out.

Myself i could never have let that happen 2 my Bodie that died 4 yrs ago.
I have his ashes in a little wooden box with his name on a gold plate and he is in my bedroom and he will stay with me 4 ever.

It's up 2 you if you go ahead and get your dog stuffed but myself i would never do it i think it's inhumane and should be baned

yeah, lik most people are saying, you could use a taxidermist, but ouldn't it be better to burry him and have the photos and memories? I know it's a personal preference, but I'd be sad every time I saw my dog stuffed and lifeless. I think photos and memories are much better, but it's up to you ;-)

he may "look" real but he won't "feel" real. the hair eventually falls off, the body is hard to the touch, and he won't be able to return his affection. sure a taxidermist could give you a body to stare at but in some future you will have wasted money and he will begin collecting dust. let your pal be remembered through pictures and memory, let him rest in piece.

NO, canines is a guy's terrific pal, one i does no longer decide to go away. why no longer spend time with it in purgatory. it incredibly is extra helpful to be mutually continually. it incredibly is not any longer heaven, in spite of the indisputable fact that it incredibly is bettter than hell :) If animals dont have a soul, then they wouldnt be alive. each and everything residing has a soul.

Unless you have a lot of money, don't have him stuffed.

I have a small memorial plot in the garden where the ashes of my various pets have been placed.

I have flowers planted and a little placque.

I often go and talk to them. It's somehwere nice to sit and think.

Find a taxidermist on the web. But do you really want to keep him like that??? Wouldn't it be better to remember him running around and alive??

When he does, remember the fun times and be prepared to sob for no apparent reason for at least six weeks. Then it starts to get a little better.
