Love is a feeling of intensity that just happens naturally. It is acceptance of the other naturally at their best and worst, instant attraction, instant connection, liking all instantaneously and all flowing naturally.
To love is a feeling that is irreplacable and to engage in love making with that individual is a feeling that once experienced can never again be duplicated. Constantly thinking and longing for that person when not in each other's presence. When 2gether, they complete you and they are your all, you do not feel as though you are missing anything else in life. You long for no other, and wandering eyes are not in your vocabulary; true love in and of itself is a gift that happens once in a life time and you will know it when it happens.

This is the best description of what true love is that I have ever found.
You will need to substitute the word Love for each instance of the word Charity. In Koine Greek the word Charity means Love.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in inquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
I Corinthians 13:4-7 (King James Version Bible).
If you make the above verses your standard for love, given and received, then you will never go wrong
If you would like to read more about the greatest love ever known then take the time to read the entire Gospel of John.
If you have a hard time understanding 1611 English then you might want to read the above verses in the New American Standard Bible or the New King James Bible.

There are many kinds of love and as such one definition will not fit all types. The love we feel for our parents is not the same as that which we feel for our children or our siblings.We love our husband,wife or life partner in a different way than we love our friends. Love requires commmitment,acceptance, patience and forgiving.I read a greeting card with this verse and it applies to love of all types." I know you aren't a sinner, I know you aren't a saint,I love you for what you are, Not for what you ain't."

That depends on what kind of love you are talking about. The love you have for family and friends is the willingness to do anything for their wellbeing. to always be there no matter what. the love that is expressed between couples is different. and i believe it is different for certain people. For me, love is when i can't get him out of my head, and just thinking about him makes me sigh..... I can sit there and look into his eyes and not see or hear anything but him. you are willing to sacrifice for them and it is unconditional.
To some people it is that odd feeling in your stomach..... but that could just be gas
