as Christians claim Jesus (p) did when he was allegedly being crucified?

Wouldn't forgiveness be more meaningful when you are in a position to exact revenge, yet find it in your heart to forgive your oppressors?

Prophet Muhammed (p) forgave the Makkans after the conquest of Makkah and these were people who had tortured him for 13 years.

I mean no disrespect to anyone. hope to get some reasonable answers.

When you truely forgive you will have the peace of mind, but as you keep the anger on you depending on what someone did to you you will remain sick and the person may be at ease.Forgiveness brings healing. I am ready to forgive nor matter the hut. It may pain me at the moment I know I will forgive the next minutes. Forgiveness is a ministry that you render to yourself and to someone.

It is difficult for a common human being to forgive in a situation described above. But if the person does not forgive, it is difficult for him to be spiritually saved. Christians claim that it is not they who can easily forgive, but it is God's power which enable them to do so, because they live in faith and in union with the able God.

One thing is for sure, it is more difficult for the person who is shipping and persecuting him to be spiritually saved, unless he really repents and accept the forgiveness from God.

Jesus didn't forgive.. cos he's never angry,, how can you forgive when you are not angry in the first place.. he was meant to die as instructed by GOD... He has always call HIM "Father", and on that cross he call HIM GOD.. as he takes our place on that cross.. and just before he passed out. he look up and call HIM father again and said "it is finished".. as he knows all sins has been punished.. and on that cross.. he converted the two bandits beside him to love GOD... do you think on that cross he has time to get angry???

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction
