I just signed up for a company that offers great coverage, and I also checked with other companies and they were the cheapest as well. you sometimes get more than what you pay for.

Identity theft insurance is a scam. Worse, many are multi-level marketing scams.

I didn't think it was very important but I learned the hard way. It took me 3 years to get my credit reports straighten out. I was so simple for my identity to be stolen....some-one got hold of a letter which had "courtesy" checks in it from an old credit card company. I had not lived in this apartment building for eight years!
NOW with any credit I have I tell the company NEVER to send me courtesy checks.

according to the statistics they claim ? how ever I never could afford those rates...!
