Well my partner has it at the moment, and he has been prescribed several treatments, the latest of those being TROSYL nail solution, almost like a nail polish which is supposed to get rid of the infection, he's only just started using it, so I couldn't tell u if it works yet! Hope this helps :D

daktarin lotion can work in between toes and there is also an anti-fungal application which u can get on prescription from your doctor which is similar in application to a nail varnish. if this is not successful u may need anti-fungal type anti-biotics

I can't tell which country you are in. The brand name varies in each country. Look up "athlete's foot" instead of "fungal toe".

Curanail. Be warned, its quite expensive and you have to apply it until the toenail grows out completely which may be as long as a year.
It would be a lot quicker for you and simpler (not to mention cheaper) to get a course of tablets from your doctor to treat it.

Lamisil ( terbinafine) can be purchased over the counter if its for a skin infection. If its a nail infection, you need oral lamisil via a GPs prescription. It is not licensed for children though.
