What you posted seem to be on the wrong side of the street.
You must have basic needs for your own survival then you must go forth and multiply otherwise you be self extinction.
That where everyone got it all wrong with lost sense of direction in planet of apes.

The book of Phillipians is about that subject. The perfect life is to be christ like in all we do. Prayer to find your purpose in this life. Only you with Christ can decide what is a perfect life. My purpose is to glorifiy God. That comes in many different ways. Everyday I come short of the glory of God (quoted by paul while in a roman prision) so perfection is a goal to constantly aim for. Only Christ was trully perfect.
God knew we could not be perfect that is why he sent his Son (because he was perfect) could stand in my place to bear my sins. So each day I thank him for his grace and patience and the knowledge to be more like him each day.

I'd say you're setting yourself up for failure, self-defeat and quite possibly making your life worse by blaming yourself for what you've messed up.
My advice would be do as you will, but be conscious of the fact that you cannot be perfect.
