It depends on the Cheese, There are so many types of cheese, the white low fat like cottage, will not do as much harm as a mature Cheddar, but eating any thing in the late evening is not a good idea, your body needs the time to process what is already there, So it needs 8 hours of rest from eating, even a cup of coffee is not good for the stomach, since it would start the digestive process off again.

NO! I am from Wisconsin (the greatest cheese makers and eaters) and eating the greatest food in the world could never do such damage. Ok, it can make you not poop for a while, but it is still the best food ever. If I had to pick death or a life without cheese, I would choose...a life with cheese! This is a dumb answer, but I am from WI and we all love cheese. We are the Cheeseheads for a reason.

Only if you are lactose intolerant. Calcium has been known to help with sleep. If you can digest cheese, it may actually help you sleep better.
