I know where it is located, but how do i change it?

remove cover. you will need a special tool, get it at auto zone for about 5-6 $.put tool over line, push into filter. some wd-40 will help. be careful, HIGH PRESSURE!!! some pushing & twisting needed. push lines into new filter,it will"click". turn key on & off 3 times, this purge air. check for leaks, your done.

Find the old filter, usually connnected to the carb. with a small hose...remove the clamps, remove the filter, replace the filter, attach the hose and clamps. Be careful. Some fuel filters work only in one direction.

clip type, easy But, you should take it to a shop and watch someone do it once ok, then do it your self cause if you mess it up it could catch fire and go boom
