My best friend's husband is very excited about the news of a male form of chemical birth control. They do not want children, but my best friend can't take traditional birth control because of her health problems. They have looked into sterilization methods, but are unable to have those procedures done due to the expense. This would be a welcome alternative to my friends, as well as other couples in a similar situation!

I find this question offensive on the fact that it implies that the man here has no choice. It also implies that the woman has to be in control. She has a choice to take the pill, not a demand.
