it would be such a bad idea 2 wear it and buy some handcuffs than hang out by the jail and act like i was hiding, i know i would initially get arrested but after they checked it out they would have 2 let me go though huh?

County jail deputies do not possess a sense of humor, if they did they'd have a hard time looking in a mirror. We think it's a funny prank, but no, after you were arrested they would not HAVE to let you go because you'd be busted for theft of state property. And then you'd have all the incoming and in custody dudes laughing at being so stupid and there's no fun in that.
I live in Los Angeles and no one would want to steal an orange jumpsuit because our county jail is the biggest and most dangerous county jail in America and if you had been in there, you'd never ever fly over it in an airplane much less hang out as a joke.
Just put on the jump suit, forget the handcuffs, wear those slip on shoes and fingerprint yourself, sucker.

They may charge you with theft for stealing the jump suit and making them look like a joke, cops hate that a lot, do not do it. You will be arrested for something if you do it and they will not be nice to you. THey are doing their jobs which believe it or not makes soceity safer even if they seem like rude or what ever term you would want to use. They take their jobs seriously and put them selfs in danger so you can be free well as free as you can be without being a criminal.

So you're a thief ! How charming ! I have a suggestion for you. Why don't you stay home on Halloween and read the want ads in several papers till you find a job. Then take the jumpsuit back to the jail on your way to job hunt. It sounds like it might be time for you to grow up.

If you're talking about prisoners being held by Americans, it's just the standard product they purchase. I have, however, seen pictures from Guantanamo where they were wearing red jumpsuits. The reason you see the orange jumpsuit is that it is used for transport. Their regular prison uniform may be different. In order to ensure that no contraband is being carried, prisoners are put in the jumpsuits when moved from one facility to another. Trust me; I was in prison for 2 years. I had a green uniform but they gave me the orange jumpsuit from time to time.

I think that you should have a few beers before you go down there and do this. Take your bag of weed with you also. Then when they come to talk to you run like hell and laugh at them. When you are finally caught I think you should show the cops your superior martial arts skills and spar with them for a while.
