Im 18 years old and I've always been known as the rich guy everywhere i go even though i try not to flaunt it at all or tell anybody i'm rich but things get out... I'm not the greatest looking guy, im average... i dont get asked out by random girls that have no idea who i am... but i do get hit on by girls that have found out i got 7 cars and 4 homes... now i really liked this girl and i got her alone and i wanted to ask her out on a date then she started talking about how she is just going to marry a rich guy. Now i know she knows im loaded but why would she say that?? After she told me this i wanted nothing to do with her... but i had a feeling she really liked ME and not my $. I gave her a really bad look for saying this and i walked away. but do you think she just said this to indicate she liked me or is she just a gold digger?

If the girl considered you an appropriate match, for your affluence, that is nothing sinful. I think the economic status of the guy is also a factor, that weighs with a girl, when she decides to exercises her option for a guy, in a serious relations. That need not put you off, if other things are OK for you.

jeez man i feel ya. I've been having this problem for a while and it keeps getting worse, to the point where I just stay home on the weekends because everyone wants a little for themselves. But in your case, it sounds like she was just making a joke, or a pointless rant. I think you should really give this girl just one more shot you know, maybe she's doesn't know anything. Don't let your paranoia scare you out of something good you know?

It could be a bit of both. either she is straight up a gold digger, or she was subtly hinting that she liked you; but didnt really know what to say. I would maybe hang out with her a time or two more and see what happens. if it turns into her wanting you to buy her things; then kick her to the curb, she only wants the money. but if you go to the movies; and she offers to pay half or something like that; then that is a good sign. if the girl NEVER offers to pay for anything on dates, they want your money.

She's a gold digger. Sorry guy. I believe that a women should be able to stand on her own to feet. But i'm also fat and don't have the looks to attracked a rich guy. And I don't think that even if I did have the looks I would be that way. Its stupid actually!

women r "natural" when it comes to gold digging. event those that have money themselves!
once u have doubts bout her, u r in trouble. u could be wrong bout her, ok. but if u r right, and then realize it, u would "blame" urself twice, cause u "knew" what she was after. i have dumped women cause i had a "good" feeling she was not faithful. If i had stuck aroundn and found them together i would have hated myself to no end.
there is always the "guy" solution, sleep w/her and walk out the door the next moment. not my fav, by might teach her a lesson

ps. one time i was dating this girl who had a good job, her daddy had a good bit of money which he would give to her, and she had at least on of his credit cards). and almost every time we were talking of what to do, she would say "lets go shopping" ... lol

I'm thinking gold digger it was probably a freuidan slip of her to mention marrying a rich guy. You should have told her i'll call you when i'm 45!(and look serious doing it) just to get a reaction and see where she is at. (just like playing poker eh? Raise to see where your at!)

That girl doesn't have a brain. Wait for a girl who you really connect with and that doesn't say stupid things like that. The last time a girl tried to hook up with my for my 14 hotrods and 8 beach houses, I told her to get lost.

If you love her, why you should care about what people say about you.
