Every body makes gas. It's a byproduct of digestion, so it is automatic in everybody. Grandma makes gas, baby makes gas- even the rector and royalty make gas. There are some foods more famous for the production, beans and cabbage do it for most folks. Beans represent an incomplete amino acid chain, which is not absorbed by the body, but ferment in the gut to make- GAS. Cabbage contains sulfer compounds, which combine with other things to make gas. Everyone has a food or group of foods which can make them feel more gassy than others, but everyone produces a certain amount of methane and other gases. You get rid of it the way you have already noticed. In some cases, when you are awake, you can normally contain yourself long enough to visit the little room and dispense with the formalities. When you are asleep, nature takes control. There is no reason for embarassment, because it just happens, to everyone. The polite thing to do for those in hearing range is to pretend they are deaf. Those in smelling range should simply move to fresher air, and again, polite folks just "let it pass" unremarked. Relax, you are normal. You can watch what you eat, try to avoid foods which are your personal gas makers, and that will help some. But you are going to produce gas as long as you eat, it's a fact you'll just have to live with.

Definitely watch what you eat, and maybe you can try taking some anti-flatulent medication it might help also try going poop before you go to bed, also it is nothing to be embarrassed about its part of being alive... if we didn't pass gas we'd all explode from the pressure so just try to think of it that way if everything else fails. Good Luck

This made me laugh...thanks. I guess watch what you eat or drink before going to bed. Give those foods time to digest and time for you to release the pressure on your own terms..lol
Try taking beano or something before you eat.
