It wasn't 150 years, but 120 years..... It is in the 6th chapter of Genesis....
It is written:
1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with [a] man forever, for he is mortal [b] ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."

Gen: 6:3 Then the Lord said, "My spirit will not put up with humans for such a longtime, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, they will live no more than 120 years."

I do not understand why some people think that because something is mentioned favorably, or just matter-of-factly, in the Bible, it means God/Jesus condones it (and also that if something is condemned in the Bible, it means God condemns it)?? My dad would like me to believe that because there were wars in the Bible, God is pro-war. I think that's BS! The book is, in part, a history book, recording the happenings and customs of the time. As for Jesus, his one main message was: "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." And what about these verses: "Be not ye the servants of men." and "Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." Sounds anti-slavery to me. Anyway, the Bible contradicts itself in all kinds of ways. Instead of arguing bits you don't understand, focus on what's indisputable and use common sense. The overriding theme of "The Good Book" is love, right? God loves us, we're supposed to love each other. If God is love, he does not support war, torture, or slavery. And any Christian who was truly Christ-like, and actually followed Christ's teachings would not support any of those things either.
