If you want the guy to tell the truth... then be serious. If he still has no sense. Better ask advice from a friend. Plan a set up that causes him to tell the truth. But I don't recommend blackmailing. not nice.

No seriously. We all tell a little white one every so often, but if he is blatantly being dishonest, then he needs to be ex guy. Sticking with this guy will bring up trust issues if he isn't up front with anything in his past. If anyone has to do a background check on anyone before you date them should be left alone. LOL

Tape him up with duct tape to a chair and continuoulsy pour icy cold water over his balls till he tells the truth. That will teach the lying f...k.
Actually, study his movements. If he adverts his eyes, he's lying. If he touches his nose when he answers, he's lying. There's a book out there called "Never Be Lied To Again" It's one worth reading.
