I do not eat fast food.
I think people eat it because they are unable to control themselves. They know that it is unhealthy, but for some reason they just have to have it.
McDonald's and all of that stuff will kill you.
Seriously, you can make a burger or taco at home and it is ok to eat it. But fast food places have so many preservatives and other crap which makes food so much worse.

Because it's something fast when you're in a hurry. Everything these days is bad for you, even healthy food that can be contaminated with e-coli. Moderation is the key. Yes, McDonalds 5 days a week is bad, but 1 day? eh life's too short to sweat the small stuff.

Because they have scientists who study what satisfies the impulses of purchasers. Fast food tastes sooo good, but I'm too educated to eat it more than very rarely.

So does cigarette smoking and heavy drinking. However a lot of people do what just "feels" good to them with out thinking of their own self distruction. I myself am guilty as charged.

there is no reason why, you just do it. We know is bad, but we still do it.
