No self respecting artist would ever do one there,with the risk of infection,in that area the nerve endings, it would be very painful The very fact that you would not be aloud to walk for at least one Hr, then theres the problem of Waring foot ware until it heals because if you knock off the scabbing prematurely you will end up with scaring and patches of missing colours because if this.Man that's not a good Ida

I have a tattoo on the side of my foot and that hurt a little especially when it came close to the sole of my foot. I have a few other tattoos and to be honest all tattoos are simliar pain. If you have it on the sole of your foot how will it heal and scab properly though coz it be constantly walked on and the scab may come off early and the colour may not set into the skin properly. I'd maybe rethink and have it on the top of your foot,

I got a tattoo from an artist who gave it free to anyone if they got their whole tattoo done on the sole of their foot or the palm of their hands as it was too painful for most to stand!

Your arm is one of the least painful places to get a tattoo. Think, you walk on your feet so will get pressure a lot and so pain while its healing too. Also tattoos can "come out" on the palms of your hands and feet so it depends on how long you want it. I got this information from my tattooist after one of the people that worked there got a flower tattoo on her palm, apparently its something about the skin wearing away quicker.

Its not anymore painfull than your upper abdominal area.The sole of the foot being tattood doesent last because it wears very easy so it is really the only place a tattoo will disapear on your body over time.I love outline pain but loath fill in pain.Its an adventure to have your sole done.Fingertips have are just as sore as feet.

I dont know how painful it is but a lot of tattoo artists will not put a tattoo on the bottom of your foot

DON'T HAVE IT! The skin on the bottom of your foot is replaced daily as it dies so within in a few weeks half of your tattoo will be gone. My friend had a tattoo going down from her ankle to the side of her foot and half of it is gone because the skin replaces itself.

i got a tattoo, the pain was bearable, but on the sole of ur foot !! damn that would be sore, i cut the bottom of my foot the other week ago and that was sore enough lol

put it this way i will give enybody a free tattoo if they can stand a tattoo on the sole of there foot its the worst place to have one trust me
