As soon as the egg is done boiling dump out the hot water and run cold water over it. Then tap the egg on the counter to crack it. Roll the egg to crack to whole thing. Make sure that you get both ends as well. In the pot that you boiled the egg in peel it. I find that it's best to start the peel on the ends and under water. Hope that helps.

Salt....put a good amount of salt in the water when you boil them. not too much about a teaspoon or so. then rinse the eggs in cold water and let sit in the frige for a few. To peel the hard boiled egg once rinsed you put it on a hard surface and press on it with your hand (not to hard) and roll it. If the shell come right off after you've rolled it you know you've put enough salt in the water. or if it is soft boiled you dont have to run them under cold water or let them sit. you can peel them right away. but holf it in your hand wrapped in a napkin and tap a spoon completely around the top portion of it...when that is done slip the spoon between each crack and pop the top off the egg and scoop out the egg on both pieces of shell. Salt will also help a cracked egg from spreading...if you catch it in time just sprinkle salt on the cracked egg while it is still boiling and it will stop spreading.

The trick to easy peeling hard boiled eggs is to put them in ice water immediately after boiling them. Once they are cooled down the egg will slide out of the shell and membrane after a simple crack and roll.

If the yolks are a bit green, it means they were boiled too long. I find putting the eggs in cold water to start, then once the water starts boiling I time them for 7 minutes. After that it's the ice water cooling. Perfect everytime. HMMMM! Now I have to go make some deviled eggs. Hope to have helped.

Older eggs are easier to peel. Drain the hot water and run cold water over them for a minute. Then crack each egg this way: ends first, then around the sides. The more cracked they are, the better. Return to cold water. After a minute or so, they will be easy to peel.

lightly tap each egg with the back of a spoon making tiny cracks around. Then let them sit in a cool water bath. This will make peeling off the shells easier.

once the egg has kinda cooled off you put it on the counter and you roll it not to hard like your rolling out dough and when you have it good and cracked all over you put it back under the running water and finish peeling it the water washes away some of the shell and keeps it from burning your hands good luck

soak them in cold water for a minute and then roll the egg on a hard surface applying just a tiny bit of pressure. Cracks will appear evenly over the surface.... peel.

When your boiling the egg make sure you put salt in the water with it, also from my experience it's easier to peel them if they are not over cooked and if you peel them in hot water.
