The products that exist (salacylic acid, benzol peroxide). The key is consistency -- using them every day, twice a day or more. Also try using a soap called "Purpose" (made by Johnson & Johnson). It dries out your skin but if you're already oily it should be fine.

Nothing, including proactive worked for me. The only thing that ended up getting rid of my acne was going to the dermatoligstsand recieving microderbavrasion treatments for a few months...it was very easy and insurance covered it! I did this 3 years ago and have not had a breakout since!

I tried so many over the counter products. Nutrogena,Biore,
Phisoderm,Clean & Clear, Aveeno. Pretty much all that was available until finally I decided to go to a dermatologist. He
prescribed a cream called Tazorac. My derm. told me that the reason the face washes weren't working was because my skin cells were not turning over as they are supposed to but the medicine help me. I had the worst acne imaginable and i am now acne free although I have scars my face looks so much better.
If the over the counter products don't work for you I would suggest seeing a dermatologist.

Hi how are you? I used to get really bad acne and I foubd that Nuetragena with Salicylic Acid helps. Sometimes my face gets so bad that I wash it and rinse with cold water to close my pores. or I do the same then take egg whits and let dry on my face and rinse you can feel it closing your poors and helps dry up acne quick. no lie

I use Almay, and I love it!
How bad is your acne? Mine was moderate when I started using Almay, and now it's nearly non-existent.

neutrogena. works wonders on my skin sicne it is so oily and sometimes i get bad breakouts it usually has it cleared up in no time.
